Isaiah 50:10 AMP

Who is among you who fears the LORD, Who obeys the voice of His Servant, Yet who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust and be confident in the name of the LORD, and let him rely on his God.

Focus: To fear the LORD, and obey His Servant's voice is the mark of a true believer. But sometimes, even those who love God may face dark and difficult times. At such times, let him or her trust in the name of the LORD (Yahweh), and rely upon him only as God. He is your only light and salvation; He will guide, sustain, and comfort you.

Luke 11:13 AMP

If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!"

Focus: This passage from the Bible illustrates the generosity and love of God towards His children. It compares the human parents, who are sinful and imperfect, with the divine Father, who is holy and perfect. It says that even though human parents are evil, they still know how to give good gifts to their children when they ask for them. Then it asks how much more will God, who is heavenly and righteous, give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him for it. The Holy Spirit is the gift of God's presence and power in the lives of His people. The Holy Spirit is the source of wisdom, guidance, comfort, joy, peace, and many other blessings. By asking this rhetorical question, the passage encourages us to trust in God's goodness and generosity and to seek His gift of the Holy Spirit with faith and confidence.

Psalm 9:9 KJV

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Focus: In times of trouble, those who are oppressed can find a safe haven in the Lord. He is a refuge for them, a place where they can seek protection and comfort. He is always ready to help them and to defend them from their enemies. He is their source of strength and hope.

John 14:27 AMP
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.  [Let My perfect peace, calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

Focus: To you this very day God is saying my gift to you is peace; the kind of peace that only I can give. It is different from what the world offers. Do not let your heart be troubled or fearful. [Let my peace soothe you in every situation and empower you to face every challenge.]

Hebrews 2:1 KJV

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Hebrews 2:1 AMP

For this reason [that is, because of Gods final revelation in His Son Jesus and because of Jesus superiority to the angels] we must pay much closer attention than ever to the things that we have heard, so that we do not [in any way] drift away from truth.

drift away: The authors audience was marked by immaturity and spiritual sluggishness. The author warned them not to be carried away by the popular opinions that surrounded them. Instead they were to hold fast to Christs words because they were the words of God.

Question: Christian, are you fully aware that whoever you listen to will affect your destiny?

Psalm 37:3 KJV Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Psalm 37:3 AMP Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.

Focus: One of the most important principles of living a faithful and fulfilling life is to trust in the Lord and do good. Trusting in the Lord means relying on His wisdom and guidance, even when we face difficulties or uncertainties. Doing good means acting with kindness and compassion, even when we encounter challenges or opposition. When we trust in the Lord and do good, we demonstrate our love and obedience to Him, and we receive His blessings and protection in return.
